1. Morning Walks at the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary

When: July 21,  8:00 am - 9:00 am

Where: Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Rd, Bernardsville

Enjoy guided morning walks at the trail. Learn about nature and enjoy viewing birds, trees, wildflowers, etc. The walks are canceled if there is rain, or weather warnings.

2. Nature Infused Yoga, Summer Series: Single Class Registration

When: July 21, 9:30 am - 10:45 am

Where: Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Rd, Bernardsville

Channel your inner peace and be one with nature this Saturday. Led by Kristin Mylecraine, Yoga Teacher and NJ Audubon Senior Research Scientist.  Don't forget to bring your own mat (if you have one), towel, and water.

3. Saturday Ground Force Volunteer Session

When: July 21,  9:30 am - 11:30 am

Where: Reeves-Reed Arboretum, 165 Hobart Ave, Summit, NJ 07901

Become a Volunteer and help the staff work outdoors to maintain the beauty of the gardens. Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes such as long pants, sturdy closed-toed shoes, and long socks. You are also advised to bring insect repellant, sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and rain gear.

4. Saturday Morning Social Run

When: July 21, 10 am

Where: Jack - Rabbit Morristown, 31 South St, Morristown, New Jersey 

A fun-filled exercise family event this Saturday! Join us on our Saturday Morning Social Run and get fit while having fun.

5. Discover Colonial Morristown Walking Tour

When: July 21, 10 am

Where: Morris County Tourism Bureau, 6 Court St, Morristown, New Jersey 07960

Wear your comfy shoes and stroll through the rich history of downtown Morristown with the celebrated local historians and Alexander Hamilton expert, Pat Sanftner. Starting times and places vary. Tours last between 60 and 90 minutes. Tickets are $15 per person.

6. Savor and Stroll Culinary Tour

When: July 21, 1 pm

Where: Morris County Courthouse, Washington St Court Street, Morristown, NJ

 Jumpstart your food adventure in Morristown while touring and eating at the same time. Tour starts at exactly 1:30 PM and would revolve around the six finest restaurants of Morristown at approximately 3 - 3 1/4 hours.

7. Amendments for the Garden

When: July 22, 3 pm

Where: 321 Changebridge Road, Pine Brook, NJ

This course is taught by Monica Pape, the lead advisor for The Accidental Agronomist.  Learn about soil fertility. This program helps you understand the differences between amendments and fertilizers, and basic calculations to make you a more informed and environmentally-sensible grower.

8. Family Photo Scavenger Hunt

When: July 21-22, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. 

Where: The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, 353 Hanover Avenue, Morris Township

Cost: $10 per family.

Join for this month’s hunt at Haggerty Education Center entitled, ‘Enchanted Woodland. Capture special moments with your family with your camera or phone and of course, take a photo of every item and get a prize. 

9. Summit Restaurant Week

When: July 21 - 22, 5 pm

Where: Summit Farmers Market, 22 DeForest Avenue, Summit NJ 07901

10. Cheaper By The Dozen

When: July 21, 8pm and July 22, 2 pm

Where: 689 Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ  08844-3317

Come to the theater this weekend to enjoy and watch the Somerset Valley Player's live theatrical rendition of the book "Cheaper by the Dozen" by Frank B. Gilbreth Jr. and Ernestine Gilbreth Carey.
