1. LAGOS – Fall Fashion Event

Come and see the latest jewelry fashion from Lagos at Roman Jewelers in Bridgewater and Flemington stores. Get the latest tips in fashion and share some special pieces from the Lagos collection. Admission is free!

2. Kids Reiki

When: Saturday, August 12 at 12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Where:  eZential Wellness Center, 1300 Prince Rodgers Ave, Bridgewater, NJ 08807

In this one-day weekend fun and creative workshop, children will learn to sense subtle energy and develop their natural healing abilities through Reiki. Those who are attending will receive a Reiki I Placement attunement, certificate, crystals and 38-page booklet that they can take home. There will be several Reiki Masters who are teaching this workshop. Parents can also attend but it is optional. Please make sure that your child had a healthy lunch beforehand. 3. You’ll Love Glass!

When: Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13 at 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Where: The Glass Underground, 167 Washington Valley Rd, Warren, NJ 07059

This hands-on workshop, which started on Friday, August 11, is designed to teach beginning and intermediate students about the interesting world of glass fusing. Students will learn the properties of glass, programming kilns, writing firing schedules, and basic cold working. All in all, there are 7 projects to complete in this comprehensive workshop.

4. Summer Social II

When: Saturday, August 12 at 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Where: St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 140 S Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920

Participants to this Summer Fun Paint & Sip Social event will enjoy a 2 and a half hour long acrylic painting lesson. Materials will be provided in the class. Participants will get the chance to take home their 12x12 canvas masterpiece. Bring your own refreshments.

5. Amber Moon Rocks Red Oak Grille

6. POE Self Defense Course

When: Saturday, August 12 at 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Where: POE Far Hills, 49 Route 202, Far Hills, NJ 07931

Learn basic self-defense from POE Punch instructor, Dewayne Riggins who is a top fitness expert and 5th Degree Black Belt in Aki Jiu-Jitsu. With more than 30 years of experience, Riggins will give you techniques that you can use if you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation. This class is open to young men and women of any physical ability.

7. Palermo Championship Series V

When: Sunday, August 13 at 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Palermo Show Stable, 1555 Burnt Mills Rd, Bedminster, NJ 07921

This Hunter/Jumper horse show offers classes for riders in all levels and points toward the M&S League, NJPHA and NJHSA.

8. Red Carpet of “Made in Pakistan” Exhibition

When: Saturday, August 12 at 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Where: Alhamra ART Center, 21 Claremont Road, Bernardsville, NJ 07924

Catch a glimpse into the contemporary art, culture, tradition, handicrafts and antiques of Pakistan in honor of its 70th Birth Anniversary. His Excellency Raja Ali Ejaz, Counsel General of Pakistan will be the Cheif Guest and Honorable Mr Kevin Sooy, Mayor of Bernardsville will be the Guest of Honor. This exhibition is scheduled to run up to August 31, 2017.

9. Mo Willems Themed Saturday Storytime

10. Westfield Lifeshop: Release Tension From Your Mind And Body
