1. Middlesex AYC Applebee's Breakfast

When: Saturday, October 14 at 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.

Where: Applebee's Grill & Bar, 640 Promenade Blvd, Bridgewater, NJ

2. Superhero Parade And Villain Dash

When: Saturday, October 14 at 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Where: Duke Island Park, 191 Old York Rd, Bridgewater, NJ

Ever dreamed about becoming a Superhero? Now's your chance to be one at the Duke Island Park's Superhero Parade and Villain Dash event. The walkathon will include games, activities and a Supervillain Dash. Snacks and candy will also be available. This event has been organized to help support local type 1 diabetic children. Major sponsors include VFW, Retro Fitness, Elks and Mailbox Business Center.


3. Mt. Bethel Village Talent Show

When: Saturday, October 14 at 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Where: 76 Stirling Rd, Warren, NJ

Come and witness the participants at the Mt. Bethel Village while they take part in the Ultimate Talent Show. Tag along your friends and family at this event which features Jessy Leppert and The Fancy Cats.


4. Anythyme Farm Field To Table

When: Saturday, October 14 at 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Where: 77 Vliettown Road, Bedminster, NJ

Come and celebrate the end of a beautiful season. Join the fun together with friends from Four Fields Farm and Wild Honey Catering.


5. Fall Festival

When: Sunday, October 15 at 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Where: St. Andrew's Preschool & Kindergarten, 419 South Street, New Providence, NJ

This family-friendly event will feature games, activities, and prizes. Entertainment is provided by Patricia's Little Movers and Shakers. Be sure not to miss it!


6. 6th Annual Pig Roast | Tailgate Party

When: Sunday, October 15 at 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Where: Martin Wallberg American Legion Post 3, 1003 North Ave W, Westfield, NJ

Open to the public, this event will feature an evening of fun, football, and fellowship. Tickets are at $25 for advance selling and at $30 on actual day selling.


7. Serenades To Music

When: Saturday, October 14 at 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Where: The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, 140 Mountain Avenue, Westfield, NJ

This event in Westfield will feature Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music with The Choirs of St. Peter's. Other highlights include Morristown Paganini Violin Concerto No. 2 La Campanella featuring Stefan Milenkovich, and violin MOZART Symphony No. 39 in E flat major.


8. Ice Cream Invitational

When: Sunday, October 15 at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Where: FUMC Westfield, 1 E. Broad Street, Westfield, NJ

Everyone is invited to gather and enjoy a delicious lunch of light sandwiches and ice cream (non-dairy ice cream will be available). Monetary donations will be appreciated and will be given in memory of Don Eisele. Don was a strong believer in paying for apportionments and had supported the Free Meals program. Proceeds of the event will benefit the apportionments and the Free Meals program at Covenant UMC, Plainfield.


9. Berkeley Heights YMCA Health Fair 

When: Saturday, October 14 at 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Where: Berkeley Heights YMCA, 550 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ

This free community wellness event will host more than 20 local health conscious organizations at the Berkeley Heights YMCA. There will be live music yoga, raffles, fun games for children, and prizes! Featured vendors include Juice Plus (Gina Roof), Autumn Lakes Healthcare, Luce's Gluten Free Bakery, DeFabio Chiropractic, and more!

10. Free Fall Harvest Fest At The J

When: Sunday, October 15 at 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Where: JCC of Central NJ, 1391 Martine Avenue, Scotch Plains, NJ

This fun and free event will feature a petting zoo, face painting, trackless train, ropes course, pumpkin patch and a pumpkin treat bake-off. All Early Childhood and Camp Yachad families are invited to come and join in the fun.
