Located in Somerset County, Bridgewater’s history spans centuries. Originally formed in the mid-1700s, Bridgewater Township’s origins are rooted in United States history. Today, people love Bridgewater for many reasons, but one of the top reasons is its connectedness. “I love the accessibility to everywhere (mall, parks, mountains, etc),” shared local Laurie N. “Bridgewater feels connected to everything, like it’s the hub of Central New Jersey. There are endless restaurant options and the ballpark offers a great, family night out.”
Even though it’s filled with beautiful green acres and picturesque scenes, Bridgewater still boasts the amenities of a city. “[It’s] close to highways, NYC, food stores, retail shopping and so much more!” says local Melissa.
