1. NJ Audubon: Focus on Ferns

Dorothy Smullen leads a walk and guides you through the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary and introduces you to the diverse world of our local ferns. You will be able to learn how to identify the various ferns found around our locality and possibly how to grow your own.

2. NJ Audubon: Framing Nature Artist Talk with Karen Fuchs

When: May 27, 2:00 pm

Where: 11 Hardscrabble Rd, Bernardsville, NJ 0792

Artist and designer Karen Fuchs talk about her exhibit which is right now on display at the Sanctuary. Exploring natural forms, structures, and patterns, Karen shall discuss her process and techniques whilst giving hands-on experiences to participants.

3. NJ Audubon: Birding By Bike at Old Mine Road

When: May 28, 9am

Where: Old Mine Road, Warren County

Take a bike ride with Steve Bagen and Maura Griffin to discover flora and fauna found in and around our county. Be taken on a river to forest ride and explore the diversity of birds and mammals. Learn about migratory and migrant birds whilst stretching your muscles and breathing in the fresh air.

4. Multi-Family Yard/Garage Sale

5. Summit Farmers Market

Now on its 22nd year, the Summit Farmer's Market is back with goodies and treats of all sorts and kinds. Purchase locally grown produce and homemade baked goods that you won't find elsewhere.

6. Somerset Patriots vs. Bridgeport Bluefish

Come for an afternoon of good, clean baseball fun to inspire your young ones to a world of sports. There will be pre-game autographs given out by the home teams and kids get to run the bases!
