From the moment we met Judy, we loved her. While it might sound corny she was honestly a breath of fresh air. I type this note to pay respect and thank, profusely, Judy Weiniger for the services she provided my family, not once but twice WIth an elderly parent to care for my wife and I needed to consolodate homes. . After attempts with two different organizations we happened across Judy, by referral, from someone who had done business with her. Judy came to our home and instead of all the salesmanship, and song and dance, she called in an expert, in our town, and put the facts on the table, and effectively, split her commission, just to be sure we were give the best advice. The facts were not what we wanted to hear, but the facts were plain and simple. We followed her advice and sold the home for EXACTLY what she and her expert suggested it would sell, within 45 days, no small task at that time and economy. Not a happy story, in that regard, but her knowledge and circle of experts were correct when 3 other groups were fantastically incorrect. Fast forward to the more recent past: We contacted Judy, again, just about a year ago and engaged her in assisting my family with an exceptionally complicated process involving the sale of a property and the bridge to a purchase of a new property. Upon Judy’s advice, which cost her a HUGE opportunity to earn a commission, she recommended the first part of the sale be handled via legal advice means only, cutting her out of the potential of tens of thousands of dollars. Who does this? Judy did. The complicated nature of this transaction dragged on for 6 months longer than it should have. Every time I called Judy she would spend all the time it required to understand where the process was and to listen to my, not so concise, descriptions of the progress. Consistently Judy was the voice of reason and objective analyzer of the details. We searched we searched and we searched. Locating what we needed and could afford in the Warren, NJ marketplace is not easy, at any time. We would locate and look and get ready to make an offer, and oops our original deal would hit a snag, or a delay, and we would lose the opportunity for the given home. All along Judy was tireless and again the voice of reason “if it is the right house it will come to you, trust me”. Finally we found it, THE HOUSE. We made the offer and began to make great progress towards the purchase, negotiating, as there were issues in play that needed correction; we were willing to accept but needed some concessions. Next thing we hear another buyer came along and made a full asking price offer and our dream home, evaporated before our very eyes. It was the most deflating moment I can recall in my recent life. Not to be dramatic but 7 years we spent with 8 people in a 2.5 BR 1 BA home, doing what needed to be done, so the loss of the perfect home, and I mean it hit on EVERY need we put onto our list, was very difficult. Yes, again there was Judy “if it the right house it will come back to you”. And she was right. After some negotiations, with the other buyers, the sellers of the home came back to us and gave us the opportunity to purchase the home for less than they had been previously offered. Sometimes being a principled business person actually does come back to assist! One would think here, now, is the happy ending, wow, that Judy is awesome, but not so fast. Another delay popped up within days of our closing which delayed the sale and almost ended our opportunity at our dream home. Judy’s calm demeanor and reassuring presence carried us, our lender and our sellers through and brought to a close the transaction my wife and I had been dreaming of and working towards for nearly 20 years. She got her center hall colonial and I got multiple bathrooms! Judy Weiniger deserves all the accolades I can put forth. She is honest, fair, smart and principled.
