These incredible holiday light displays in North Central New Jersey and beyond are designed to impress! 1. Historic Smithville Lake and Light Show

Time: 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm Thursday through Sunday
Where: Lake Meone at Historic Smithville
A great way to take a step back from the bustle of the season is to retreat to Lake Meone in the center of historic Smithville. Be mesmerized by the synchronized dance of light and music on the lake and feel your cares wash away. Stay for a Christmas story read by Mrs. Claus, and enjoy an evening of holiday cheer!
2. Holiday Lights Light Up the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo
When: December 7 - 31, 2020 (closed on December 24 and 25).

Where: Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex and Turtle Back Zoo, 560 Northfield Avenue in West Orange
Enjoy a memorable winter night with your family at the Turtle Back Zoo! Be transported to a mystical light journey through the grounds featuring over 100,000 lights that gleefully light-up animal figures and other Christmas displays. Myrtle the Turtle will be there with other friends along with Santa to greet visitors. Bring Santa's Christmas letter and drop it off there, too!
3. Christmas Fantasy with Lights Parade at Storybook Land
When: November 17 - December 30 (Closed 11/22, 12/24, 12/25)

Bring the family over and help give Santa and Mrs. Claus a warm welcome! Gaze in awe as the park is lit up and illuminated with the wave of Santa's wand with more than a million twinkling Christmas lights. Santa will be there until December 23, so be sure to stop by.
4. Christmas Light Show & Village at The Skyland Stadium
When: November 16, 2020 – December 30, 2020

Drive through this mile-long tunnel of holiday Christmas light displays and be swept away by the beauty and magic of Yuletide! The Xmas Light Show and the indoor village will be open all December for all young and young-at-heart to enjoy.
5. Christmas Lights Up Cape May - A Victorian Experience

Allow the regally quaint Cape May to hold you captive this holiday season when the whole town is magically transformed into a winter wonderland straight out of a storybook. Be immersed in the history of the Cape and be part of an old-fashioned Victorian holiday tradition and festivities! This time, virtually!
6. 80 Briarwood Dr. East Warren lights
When: The lights run nightly from 5-10pm
Where: 80 Briarwood Dr. East Warren
Uniquely choreographed lights to the tune of the music playing in the background are what makes this light display special at this home on Briarwood. Using energy-efficient LED lights, 21 controllers, miles of wire, and extension cords creates an animated light show on this front lawn.
